To glorify the bad by publicly disparaging the good is the true scandal.
As I mentioned in the blog, even the Holy See has come to recognize the good that laicized priests, with the knowledge of their ordinaries, are performing.
As long as good can come from this forum because God deems it worthy, I am here to stay.
I encourage you to stick with us. You have contributed to our success in the past and we look forward to your contribution going forward.
Come to think of it, you may now have a reason not to cry at my funeral.Papa Puttsshttps://www.blogger.com/profile/00565128278576668444noreply@blogger.comtag:blogger.com,1999:blog-22565042.post-56275614684429820032008-04-18T10:40:00.000-07:002008-04-18T10:40:00.000-07:00Aren't laicized priests not supposed to be lectors...Aren't laicized priests not supposed to be lectors, teachers, etc, and to keep their status quiet to avoid scandal? Breaking one's vows, even with permission, is not something to be proud of, even if it has given you insight and spiritual growth to have gone through the experience. God will always bring good out of bad, but the bad is still bad. Perhaps you ought to reconsider whether you should give yourself a public forum such as this, rather than a more appropriate penitential silence.Hesiodos https://www.blogger.com/profile/08479185626243926907noreply@blogger.com
